Rescue Initiative

Saving Lives, One Rescue at a Time

At The Xena Project NTX, we are committed to rescuing animals from shelters or situations of abandonment, particularly those left behind in apartment communities or rental homes. Our Rescue Initiative Program is dedicated to saving at-risk, highly adoptable animals, providing them with necessary medical treatment, and finding them loving forever families.

Our Mission:

Identify and Rescue: Actively seek out and rescue animals left behind in rental properties or facing euthanasia in shelters due to space or time constraints.

Provide Medical Care: Ensure each rescued animal receives comprehensive medical care, including vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and any required treatments for health issues.

Rehabilitation and Socialization: Work with each animal to address any behavioral or emotional challenges, preparing them for successful adoption.

Adoption and Placement: Find the best possible forever homes for our rescued animals, ensuring they are placed in loving, responsible, and suitable environments.

Our Process:

Rescue Operations:

We collaborate with local shelters, property managers, and community members to identify animals in need of rescue.

Our team conducts safe and humane rescue operations to bring these animals to our care.

Medical Treatment:

Upon rescue, each animal undergoes a thorough veterinary examination.

We provide essential medical treatments, including vaccinations, spaying/neutering, dental care, and treatments for any illnesses or injuries.

Rehabilitation and Care:

Our dedicated staff and volunteers provide the rescued animals with a nurturing environment.

We work on socialization and rehabilitation to help them overcome any trauma and prepare for adoption.

Adoption Program:

We carefully screen potential adopters to ensure they are the right match for our animals.

Our goal is to find forever families who will provide love, care, and a safe home.
